The current ICN-MNL that we are supposed to operate, we don't even have government approval or slots to do it yet...so we've got that going for us.
If my info was from top men I would have said it. Unless otherwise stated, my posts are my own opinions. Future new destinations are my guesses. Increased block hours on higher paying aircraft in the Asia Pacific Network is not a guess but an observation based off earnings reports and increased 330neo deliveries

fair, increased block hours in the pacific we will see if that happens and i hope it does. Higher paying aircraft in the pacific is absolutely a positive thing and we are seeing that happen currently. What we aren't seeing is the increase in block hours, but so far all we have seen is a decrease in block hours.

Top men have been inaccurate before, the plan is in constant revision. I won’t put any faith in prognosticators. When the events happen you can then draw historical conclusions. In our case, historically MANAGEMENT HAS VIOLATED scope and we have accommodated their “illegal” shrinkage and violations. That, in my opinion, would be a logical perspective. Scope will be tested and violated and the agreement will be amended to bring some semblance of compliance by shifting metrics or reducing quotas. Crystal balls are for suckers IMHO.

Agreed Pacific Block Hours decreased rapidly as the Narita winds down and basically hit the contractual floor. However with the arrival of the 330neo along with new flights to HND, ICN and PVG Pacific Block Hours have increased in 2019

FWIW, I believe SEA-PEK will be officially replaced with a 339neo with the next batch of deliveries. According to multiple commentaries by leaders, including a direct conversation with J. Esposito, the remaining 339neos are heading to EU territory. About HKG, said no plan to return, but JFK would likely be the best market if we ever did due to strong business O/D.

IMO, our 5 year Pacific outlook of growth will be mostly by gauge, some frequency adds (LAX/JFK in addition to KE), and maybe a SLC/PDX to ICN.

Sea-Pek on the 330 will probably come sometime around March/April 2020.

That's going to be a fantastic upgrade for customers. A330neo is a much better product than the 767-300. And much better payrate for Delta pilots
