Active and Fit Direct
Trying to sign up for this but the enrollment form will not let me select a state. Delta IT strikes again. Tried both Chrome and Safari - anyone else come across this issue?
It says they are waiving the enrollment fee or August but I can not find the promotion code. Is a code required or does it just not charge you the fee? Seems like a super deal if one can successfully penetrate the bureaucracy and actually enroll. Scoop |

Checked into two different gyms while I was running around town. Worked like a charm, they just filled out their paperwork, put me in the system, and gave me a key fob thing to come work out. |

How hard is it to change gyms? Right now I pay $30 per month for any LA fitness and I'll just pay walk-in fees ($10-$20) on the road for the dreaded 28 hour layover. This looks like a good deal, but I have a feeling switching gyms is a pain in the ass. I use 3 different LA fitnesses near my home. It's painless. Membership card on my phone and works anywhere.
This Active plan could be good, but I'm under the impression you can only have 1 specific club at a time and switching it requires reregistering at each individual club. I'm not willing to do that. I'll just keep paying. Probably spend about $60 per month as is. |

I’ve got a fob for a gym at home through active and fit. Today I’m on the road and am going to see how the sign up at Golds goes to try somewhere else. Will report back.

Went to family in PA and got into the YMCA for 3 weeks. Now back in LA home using LA fitness. No problem. Scoop, why go through Delta? I looked at going through Alaska, but I found AAA to be best. 10% discount cash back after one year in. $25 one time enrollment fee, $25/month, 12 months is $325, and AAA will give you a $32.50 credit. Active Fit Direct through AAA. Look it up for your AAA club. I got the benefit for SoCal AAA, but looks like it should be available for other AAA localities. |
Do not enroll now! You pay “first month” $25 which will be today to Aug 31.
To maximize your money, enroll Sept 1st. That nearly got me when I signed up Active Fit Direct. So I waited for the 1st of the month to enroll. In summary, wait til September 1, enroll through AAA, you pay enrollment fee, 1st month fee, and next month fee. $75 up front. Then $25 monthly. On October 1 you are charged for November month fee. After 1 year, AAA will credit you 10% = $32.50 back. Edit: I see Delta offering to waive enrollment fee, but your 1st month fee still today to Aug 31. You’re losing out on just 1 week worth left for full month fee. |

I appreciate it. I was reading some reviews and there are a lot of complaints about non-participating gyms that active fit is advertising as participating.
