Default Al Haynes has died

Media is reporting that Al Haynes has died. He is the reason that, just my opinion, we will not have pilot less aircraft anytime in the near future. What happened to them in that DC-10 was not suppose to be able to happen. They fought that aircraft all the way to the ground. Rest in peace brother.

I heard him speak about that flight twice. He had audio from the crash event and reconstruction of the flight path in the presentation. It was an amazing and emotionally moving presentation. He will always be one of the best I’ve seen use CRM to elevate the performance of those around him.

Rest In Peace Captian
