Bank deposit
This month I had 7 hours I could deposit to the bank, I did. I ended up picking up a green slip and would like to deposit more, but it does not say there is more eligible for deposit. Is it a once per month only kind of thing?

Just so I’m clear......
I had 87 and went to 80 after I deposited 7. I then flew a GS for 11:30 credit plus the GS pay. Shouldn’t I be able to deposit the 11:30 of credit (not the GS pay). |

Got it now. I don’t fully understand why there is a distinction between pay and credit, but that is neither here nor there. I’m sure there’s a very good reason why I can’t put hours I earned into the bank though. Thanks for the explanation.

Only hard time above reserve guarantee can be banked. Green slip, training, or vacation that puts you above reserve guarantee are not bankable.

Edit: there’s also a limit of 20 hours per bid period and 60 total in your bank. |
It all boils down to the fact that you bank credit, not pay. Per 23.Q, green slips for line holders are double pay, no credit above the ALV/GS trigger and single pay, no credit above reserve guarantee for reserve holders.
Vacation and training give you "fake credit" so you can hit the GS trigger but that "fake credit" disappears for bank purposes. |
Pulling from Bank, when it pays out
Hello all, I take a big pay cut when I go out on MIL leave. I have read you can draw from the bank (negative) to help for lower credit months (like being out on military). I did so for the first time the end of July. Icrew seems to reflect this, but I don't think I've seen this on my paystub yet, and I assume enough time has passed. Any advice or gotchas doing this? I haven't had to inquire about any pay issues yet since starting here.

Icrew>Pay/Hours(top tool bar)>Pay Statement>Sel Bid Period. Should be a line below your paid trips that says Fill Curr Month. |
Thank you for your replies. I think I let my wife convince me something was amiss. We figured it out. Thanks again.
