Another pilot jealous of people greenslipping. Probably a commuter. I did not green slip much this summer at all, but I'm all for guys making good money if they choose to do it.

I'm not jealous at all. I don't put in for greenslips because my time off is my time off. I'm just saying, people on here are saying "we need to fix staffing" and "we want QOL" and "we are mad at how bad this summer was" while they picked up 40,000 GS days... reluctantly I'm sure. Management knows the pilots are just full of hot air because the minute they screw up, they can throw money at it and it'll go away.

How's this sound? "If guys want to report before 9am that's their call, but I prefer to take my kids to school every day to show them how much I love them. I guess some of us just love our kids more than others do."
In case you're wondering I flew one GS in June, zero in July (when anyone could have flown five or six), three in August (on reserve and with the PB days flew less than if I put in for none!) and zero in September. I'll likely put in for zero this month. So... sometimes it makes sense to me and sometimes it does not. But I wouldn't think to be arrogant enough that I have the right to tell others how they should fly, or not.

Virtue Signaling to the core. You'll have to forgive guys flying the contract as they see fit. Might as well throw stones at guys flying trips that report before 9am.

Let's see if you can follow this for the 3rd time. The overwhelming sentiment I've read online is QOL was awful this summer and the company needs to staff better...yet there is truly no incentive for the company to staff better because they know that there is virtually a limitless amount of GS they can give out to save their bacon.
Now, I'll say it slowly this time. I have no problem with people flying GS. I repeat, I have no problem with people flying GS. I'm just saying that they also need to stop complaining that there is poor staffing and the company needs to fix it.

That isn't at all virtue signalling. I recommend you look up the definition.
