Split Pairings
 

Did I misinterpret something at the base visits when I heard them say they were going away? 3/4 of my trips are split pairings next month. I’m not that annoyed by it, just the fact I swear they said they were stopping it. Lip service I guess. ATL320B

Aren’t they rerunning ATL320?

My schedule is published in DBMS so I assume it’s official. Totally changed from what it was but still got what I needed.

They also said they weren’t going to have us fly red eyes after a morning arrival. In other words, no 10:00 am arrival in PHX or Vegas, followed by an 11:00 pm red eye that night. A lot of our Vegas layovers are day layovers followed by a red eye, in MSP.

It just seems they are full of bull lately. They said no 3 leg days in IROP prone stations. That was a lie. They said no split pairings. That was a lie. I’m sure I can think of more but those are the ones I have personally witnessed and read. I love Delta but dang, be honest.

I think the 3 leg day IROP deal was something coming soon, but not yet for November, but yes I still agree with your sentiment.

It was rerun and everything is in DBMS now.

Just finished a 3 day where I had 5 FOs. So much for the vow to cease that practice...

Did that vow come with a defined timeline, or was it open-ended? I ask because I truly don’t remember the specifics of the statements.
