So... since you are hell bent to turn this thread into that one, I'll ask you here too. Do you realistically think we can/will sign a contract with zero on the company's side of the ledger?
I'll stick to the other thread but yes because I don't see anything of value they would want that I'm willing to let go. During these times of prosperity we need to add to the contract because when the down turn comes, you deal makers will want to throw in the kitchen sink. That MAY be an appropriate time to exchange, this is not.

lol. I don't know what they might want that I am willing to let go of. I haven't seen anything at this point. But your stance is akin to saying you are going to vote no 'just because'. It's not rational.

I think they are clear what they want. Ed has announced it to shareholders. A reduction in costs. That means more with less. To us, productivity. Top end scope is another area I see an ask from the company.

Where they ask for the productivity gains will be interesting to see and how much we ask to give some productivity. Scope I hope we hold firm on.

They can get 17 787s in a year and we freak out because our 330 deliveries were upped to 7?!?!

This could actually be an interesting discussion. How can we be more productive?

This IS gonna be good. I for one can’t do anything more. Unless maybe it’s an IA where I get paid double without regard to a trigger. Oh, we already have that solution, my bad. What else can we give?

We're talking about productivity. I'm not sure honestly what more they could get to make us more productive. Certainly not anything that will affect my current lot.

Productivity is a misnomer. They want to pay less for additional work. We already have a mechanism that works well for incentivizing additional work. This past summer allowed for individuals to value their time as they decided. We had enough people volunteer and we somehow made it work. This is the template. I can’t think of a “productivity” give that will be acceptable to the pilot group but I will wait for some responses.

Exactly what I was saying. Do more with/for less. I think there are a lot of simple “solutions” the company could ask for. Just look at some of our reroute and tag on flying rules.

I do agree. There isn’t much left to give in the way of credit and layover. But I’m only at 1 hour of credit for the entire month of Nov so not much to give there. I guess we could fly to FAR max each day but then we would be timing out 20 days into a month.

Don’t underestimate the ability for some bean counter to come up with creative ways to squeeze that last ounce out.

You haven't answered my question at all. I'll rephrase.

How is it conceivable that we could be more 'productive'?
