Senior Leadership: Outsourcing is Cheaper
This is how senior leadership views your career here at DL.
Take a stand. Call your reps. Ensure we protect ourselves, our families and our profession during this set of contract negotiations.

I don't think most pilots are surprised by this. However, to have all the pilot's suspicions so eloquently confirmed by the guy in charge of the companies money.. that's noteworthy.
I also remember debating with some on here the narrative from "Real Talk With Ryan", that Virgin shifting their routes into the US was simply a one-time shift to help out Virgin. It's undebateble now. The primarily driver is to leverage WBs from other airlines, as opposed to organically growing which requires CAPEX and increased operating costs. All other motives or benefits are secondary. Shareholders rejoice.

I agree. It’s disgusting.
I hope the word gets out, everyone shares this, and we can get massive contract gains because of it.

Interesting that Herndon sent an email earlier today outlining all the challenges ahead for the airline industry. (Settle early?) And then at the bottom, likely well after most folks stop reading is a little bit of hope.
Wait for it...the positive outlook for the airline industry is in the east and south. And we’re not talking the continental US.
Nice to know the plan, as confirmed by PJ, is to have other partners do most of that expansion.
