I meant tunes, haha.

Herk is working on the stick consumption, though. tunes is way more committed than I, but I follow similar protocol to him. Mostly because I'm just that lazy.

Must have not flown with me then!

Not too small. I've gone a couple of years not wearing the jacket enjoying my S. America trips on the ER a few years back.

The FOM clearly states you don’t have to wear the jacket for any rotation that has a leg into the discussed destinations so there is no issue ditching the coat for the entire rotation.
The catch is you’re not allowed to wear your bus driver jacket, ski coat, leather jacket ect.. with the uniform. I have seen some pilots looking pretty ridiculous freezing their butts off just to avoid the coat.

If they were “freezing their butt off” on a walk around without the coat, they would be “freezing their butt off” on a walk around even if they had the coat on. —-That’s one of the the biggest reasons I hate wearing it..>its useless when it comes to keeping you warm on a cool/cold day!! Give me a good looking jacket that actually has some insulation to it and I’d be ok with wearing it in the winter months up here in Minny....

Well when Barbie said looked hot it's because of the beads of sweat pouring off our heads while trying to make our 45 minute turn in ATL with an aircraft swap.

MIA highs are 80 degrees and it's about the same latitude as NAS. That's excessive, for a wool jacket.

Let's face it, the company is now all about diversity, except our uniforms. We're stuck with an inflexible policy. Better than purple uniforms that are now going to be dumped into the ocean.
