Just noted that there is a category where guys were forced into a line. Too junior to hold reserve lol. Strange times!
Take away premium vacation weeks or hire some pilots....ya, let's take away vacation, noone really cares about their summers anyway.

I see the FEB CA bids on Deltanet. Didn’t get the text from Alpa alerting they are out. They are out much later than average, especially for February. FO bids still not out. Going to be a tight summer, especially without a contract while company is making record profits and bragging about it.

That isn't unusual. With my NB category it happens regularly. It's a side effect of us having what are probably the best reserve rules in the industry and a category with a lot of pilots who live in base. Honestly, even as a commuter I don't feel like I'm home any less on reserve than with a line.
