Ive been watching this closely as well. Same seniority % also. I currently speak French but definitely considering making the switch.

I’m not doing it but I think at your seniority level you would probably have a pretty decent schedule as long as you have a manageable commute.

Sounds like you’d have me by a few %. If you’re on the 320 in NY I say go for it!

Check out the website flightcrewtools and filter whatever rotation parameters you want and input whether your seniority would hold it or not. Very useful for category research. I always thought NYC 765 looked like a gem of a category for a commuter and if you can handle international (I found that my body doesn’t).

Been studying flightcrewtools but hoping to get some info from someone living it.

I’m right at the % you mention and do a two leg commute thru ATL or IAH mostly. Easy peasy. I’m able to get all commutable trips. I like to do two 6 days or back to back 3 days. If I do back to back 3 days, I don’t care if the first one finishes late. I’m headed to ATL soon, so I’ll leave the light on for ya.

Trips and crews are great. LHR hotel rooms are tiny, but a good location. I miss Dublin already. It was my fav.

At that seniority you mentioned, you should have zero problems holding a nice schedule. I have commuted for almost 20 years now and it doesn’t bother me. It may not be for everybody.

Don't do it. Airplane is so underpowered, that every TO is Packs OFF. Rest area on the birds with the new mods is great if you want to watch movies, as the screens are very nice. But if you want to sleep, the seats are narrower and in my mind less plush than the old ones. We only serve 4 cities now, so forget seeing new places. The only good thing is that it pays the same as the 330, which is where you should go. Specially if you're <10k!
