I also saw Charm School, by Nelson Demille recommended, which was a great book, but everything by Nelson Demille has been great to read.

That's a great book.

Just finished “The Wright Brothers“ by David McCullough.

Excellent writer, and of course an interesting subject.

Reminds me shortly before Orville’s death, Howard Hughes (Owner of TWA) and Jack Frye (President of TWA) stopped by Dayton, Ohio. They picked up Orville in one of the first Connies, a pressurized “modern” piston driven aircraft. It was the last flight for him. He even flew it. What a thrilling story.

Patrick O'Brian

The Aubrey and Maturin books by Patrick O'Brian starts with Master and Commander which of course is much different than the movie.

I’m currently reading Skygods about the rise and fall of Pan Am. Good book even has some humour in it, if you’re looking for something Aviation related. Believe it or not I’m missing flying after being on the ground since March 23rd.

OMG, Fantastic book.

Imagine the USSR getting caught tapping “secure” comm lines next to New Orleans with a submarine in the Mississippi River.

USN did all kinds of crazy S...T like this in the Cold War. God bless them, and F the filthy commies. Wish I could get you Navy types to leak a bit more...

Great book. I doubt this is a tenth of the skullduggery USN was up to.
