Vipers in the Storm: Diary of a Gulf War Fighter Pilot by Keith Rosenkranz
That name might look familiar to you as he was the guy who recently chartered a 330 for his retirement flight. The book was mentioned in another thread, but somehow I didn't find it on this list of good reads. Quick easy read about his career in the Air Force leading up to and thru Desert Storm. As I was only 11 at the time, this gave context to my oversimplified understanding of the entire ordeal. On a related note, thank you for all the book reccomendations. I find this thread the most useful by far on APC. |

Book about the life of General Mattis from childhood to being in the WH. Really enjoyed this book. Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance. Explores the meaning of quality through a motorcycle road trip. It challenges the idea of objective reasoning and encourages introspection and appreciation for the complexity of life. |
