California reportedly just ordered state wide shelter in place.

Doesn't that effectively close the airports?

The only question is when will (not if) a nationwide shelter in place directive be given.

Essential employees are excluded from the stay at home order. Update 9 I believe defines us as essential.

Sickening that this is allowed. Regardless of party affiliation any senator who did this should go to jail.

does that include all the tsa agents, contracted fuel guy's, contract maintenance etc, throughout all of Californias airports. This could be a very slippery slope. I don't see how California airports, or us, can remain operational in California until the order is lifted, regardless of whether we show up to work or not.

I’ve never been a fan of state general police powers ... here it raises its ugly head. What country are we in again?

Are we ready for the depression, socio-political upheaval, or both that come wrapped up in these policies?

Our jobs will be the least of our worries as this takes on a life of its own.
