What’s up with all the open time coming in last night? I mean in the middle the night right before the first PCS run. Now reserve available days are all low. Where did it come from —parking the 88s and 757s? Seems to be mostly affecting the airbus and 73 fleets. A trip I traded for has 8 legs, none of which are even in travelnet (different time or equipment). Ideas?

They want us to work less but only on their terms. No trip dropping for you. No dropping reserve days. What, you wanted to drop down to forty hours to help out voluntarily in April? TOO BAD! You're going to be forced into 23K recovery with 20 other pilots that day and not actually do anything but sit around and collect your rotation guarantee! Take that!

Some of those new trips are falling apart now too. I swapped thinking I’d rather have more money and security of a normal schedule. 1 out of 2 ain’t bad.

That's funny, I got a good buddy on the 320 and he swears the 320 is what's keeping the airline moving.

Was called this morning for two Greenslips. Taking two 737 to Victorville and DH back. Both planes leaving JFK at 0700 this morning. Not sure why they’d schedule two last minute repos to the boneyard.
