Eh, what did it really bring to light? I mean, if you didn't already think that a certain percentage of pilots have CV, you clearly have your head buried in the sand. What does "knowing" that 40 to 45 pilots have CV really do for you? Does it make you feel better or worse? What will you do with that information? In reality we have WAY more pilots than that who have/had it and don't/didn't even know it.
They showed up a day early, ready to record...clearly nothing more than an attempt to sling mud and attempt to resurrect a dead cause.

I wonder if the company can get it's hands on some of those Abbot Labs machines that test in 5 minutes? I for one would LOVE to have the entire crew tested at sign in. Assuming it works, and there aren't thousands of "false positives".
As I understand it, those machines are tailor made for our business model (a small group/crew that needs a quick test); they're much less useful for large populations that can be more efficiently processed in a lab.
Good luck getting one, however.

Lack of available testing isn't helping.

And a commitment to refine and improve cabin sanitization even after all of this is done, plus cockpit cleaning/sanitizing anytime there is a crew change on a plane.

I have spent the bulk of my career being pretty ambivalent towards ALPA. I rarely go to meetings.
Having said that, I am VERY impressed with our latest response to the company’s blatant attempt to shame us in front of the other employees. I have seen this movie several times before. Hopefully this strategy will give the movie a different ending.
Shame me once, fool on me. Shame me twice; I won’t fall for it this time. (Apologies to “W”)
