Note in iCrew reagarding displacement bidding

I just noticed today that the iCrew main page states (I paraphrase in an attempt to avoid directly publishing proprietary info) an additional DTW 73N B position is available for "displacement bidding." Bids close at a particular time which is very soon; not today, but Saturday is beyond the deadline.

I normally breeze past that page, clearing all the pop-ups that tell me I need to do CQC, update my iPad, log some landings, etc. So it's a safe assumption that I may have missed that message for days or weeks, as well as overlooked some other advisory about a nearly immediate displacement bid. I went into a panic scramble and immediately checked the Deltanet Crew Resources page for some sort of AE or displacement bid posting, but there is not a bid posting more recent than the January 17 AE.

What the heck is iCrew talking about?

It refers to the cancelled Jan AE. Based on PWA 22.E.15, folks who have not converted have some ability to displace junior folks that have converted. There were nine such conversions available to be cherry picked; that DTW 73N spot makes it 10 I believe.

If you don’t have a cancelled Jan AE award, you can safely go back to watching Joe Exotic.

Is it saying that there is a 73N B position available from the cancelled Jan AE for those affected to bid?

(beat me to it.)
