I expire the first week of June and am very much in the don't know/don't care camp as long as the paycheck keeps coming. I've done what's required (submitted availability) and now it's kinda not my problem to uneff the mess. They know lots of pilots are running out of currency especially on heavily parked fleets like the ER. Fixing that is probably just number 187 on CRs list of things to worry about.

This was already discussed upthread.

If you're not ATL based it's an extra 8 hours of pay if done on your off days. [Pre-Covid] It's not a bad deal if you have lots of flight options to ATL. Its usually an A period, so I catch a late flight down there and can be on a plane by 1030-1100 the next morning. I go 2-3 times a year and it's 50/50 for me on whether they schedule me on reserve days or off days.

FWIW there is RCY and RECY training.
RCY, maintain recency, is pilot is still current so three takeoffs and landings and a CAT III. It really is gusty takeoff, instrument takeoff, rnav gps, cat III.
RECY, reestablish recency, is pilots are no longer current in past 90 days and for that it’s all of the above plus V1

im going to try and not sound snarky, but dude, if you can’t answer the question, then don’t please. I’ll repeat the question, has anyone who is bumping up to/ or passed their recency gotten any SA or direct info on how far behind they are? Things like are they letting people lapse? Are they assigning bounces like a reserve trip(12 hour call outs) stuff like that. I feel like dudes are getting pretty Agro on these boards with opinions and “facts”, maybe chill out
Thanks

Ill say again, and as adults, you can choose to not answer if you haven't experienced this. Has anyone who is very close to or have actually surpassed their recency in the last week or 2, gotten any SA on what they are going to try and do with ER folks?
thanks
