I actually thought overall it was not near as bad as my expectations. 10700 pilots needed. Keep in mind we always carry above that number and the percentage above is higher during high training demand. The question now is will they furlough to that plan or furlough to the summer 2022 plan.

That’s pretty ugly. This is 18 months away, and is AFTER accounting for the expected retirements in that time frame. Once the training churn shakes out, probably about 10,700 total left on property is about the right number though.

Hey Sailing, help me out here, what do they mean by "active" pilot? Is that including NBCSIC, NBCMIL etc or not?
