Furlough effects on Disability

Searched the PWA in general, and read line by line section 21 & 26 to no avail. If a pilot is on short term or long term disability at the date of furlough, what are the effects on disability payments and the relationship to the company? Effects on DPMA? Does the state of residence matter? If you can point me to the correct PWA paragraph, I’d appreciate it.

I have no idea. We are in uncharted territory in many areas.

It seems like I remember guys kept getting disability pay after their seniority number was furloughed last time(2002).. Your question should be directed toward ALPA for the best answers. I also wondered what happens to guys on disability if Delta files bankruptcy?

I don't think this is uncharted at all. Has hapened before, both the furlough situation and the BK situation with pilots on dis. While I don't know the answer, I know there already is an answer and that this is not new at all. The only real variable would be Ch 7.
