Yes, my fail on typing the correct term. If the Median were 62.2, then we’d be looking at at least 850 retirements not anticipated by crew resources in their number crunching for the MOAD. That would be relevant to relieving some of the upcoming UNA/furlough pain.

While Median would be helpful, I would argue a Mean of 62.2 is a very useful number (and GREAT news too). Given it can't be more than 65, that means a good number under 62, maybe even well under...
The non-cons had a much higher participation rate than expected, according to the SVP of HR. I would expect ours to exceed 2000 when the last minute rush comes. An Avg of 62 is also very good news for the 2558.

I concur. One would hope that each retiree under 62 (63 actually) would equate to one less furlough. It would be a huge bullet dodged for the company to not furlough anyone and the damage that does to morale and the brand, but it would be an even bigger bullet dodged for every UNA that remains gainfully employed.
