Sadly if your buying it’s a very strong sellers market. Boating is viewed as covid safe.

Wow, you guys are here asking each other what boats you should buy, meanwhile your fellow colleagues are worrying whether they will have a paycheck in 2 months. Flex much?

then don’t click on the “Yamaha jet boats?” link. Guy is asking for advice from other guys who might have first have knowledge on the boats. I wouldn’t call it a “flex” just some consumer research. Maybe they trust opinions of people on here over a boat forum.

This might be the dumbest post I've read on APC, and that's saying something.

^ Truth right there, I do my best to contribute to the dumb. I feel like I've given it a pretty good go and am inspired and hopeful for continued output.

So just because times are tough, everyone has to be miserable? Reminds me of the wives that were mad at their spouses because we happened to be deployed to a really nice location...like we had a choice in the location. Apparently, they were just supposed to sit in their rooms and be miserable...

It's the same with real estate right now! I've been looking for my "forever" home on water and things are crazy right now. Everything is going with competing bids over the asking...people are spending stupid money on houses right now. It's the same for just normal properties as well. I'll be watching over the next 2 years, when people are on the flipside and looking to unload their properties.

As a UNAcorn, I don't mind if they ask for boat advice.....maybe he got a large inheritence....maybe he has been smart with money and lived below his means the last few decades, and now he's ready to enjoy it a little

Just becuase out lives might be turned upside down in a few months doesn't mean I expect everyone still on the active pilot list to stop living.....life is too short.

Emotions are running higher than normal on the typically emotional APC. I wish there was a <<hug>> button. Folks just need a bit of reassurance, it seems. I don’t even mean that to be mean; folks seriously need a beer and a campfire.

Agreed, and awesome.

Here's a question, because I'm not a boat xir: What's the deal on invasive species across state lines? Are props or jets better to avoid a big fat fine from concerned state X, Y, and/or Z?

You win. You’re the most virtuous.
