I just bought a new truck, discovered that my wife and girlfriend like each other... a lot, already have a new job making more than the one furloughing me in October and the liquor store had my favorite bourbon on sale buy one get one free.

how was your day? Lol. We are all so touchy now. Bless our hearts.

Depends on what you’re using the boat for.
If it’s surfing or wakeboarding, buy the correct boat.
Malibu, Air Nautique or Master Craft.

Since I’m about to lose my job, I’m lucky to have sold my 2016 Axis A22 last year. I’m currently driving an old family owned jet boat. If you plan on doing anything other than cruising around, being in the water and drinking, or pulling the occasional tube, I wouldn't buy one. Yeah they are cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you want to do any water sports you will be sorely disappointed. They have horrible speed control and they make awful wakes/waves. Don’t be sold on surf/wakeboard version or anything else, it will be garbage. The jet boat companies are trying to say their boats can do it all but it’s just not true. They will never be true wakeboats. Like the other guy said if you want a real capable sport boat buy a Malibu, Natique, Tige, Supra, etc. Oh and you’ll always be looked at like a “noob” in a jet boat.

That being said, the jet boat can be good if you have little experience with boating. Driving a direct drive or V drive takes quite a bit of patience and experience. The jets are maneuverable, can be beached, can go through shallow water, and have little chance of messing up the impellers and are arguably safer without a prop.

if your girlfriend is not the truck and actually a real girl, congrats. That’s quite the accomplishment.

years ago when I worked at coex we had a pilot who lived in a boat in Cleveland with his wife and their girlfriend.

Those two ran off together when he was on a trip. Later, the wife, who was mad at him about stuff, called and said if you want you’re high priced parrots back meet at this parking lot. So he did.

the police showed up and arrested him. He was confused. Turns out the wife had picked a parking lot next to a school and had also called the police to say there was a pedo in a car in said parking lot across from the school trying to talk to the kids.

he got to call crew scheduling from jail that he’d miss his trip.

and you heard this story because in your way through Canadian customs he tells you he will be delayed. Which again was due to the wife and girlfriend. It made for a very interesting trip to hear all this

Careful with that wife and girlfriend stuff people.

Was this the same guy who got busted smuggling a motorcycle back from Mexico and claiming it as "crew baggage"? Some strange cats up there in Cleveburgh back in the day.
