Trying to use 1 Payback Day

I've never had a payback day before, but somehow I have ended up with one. Am I right in thinking I can pick up a 1 or 2-day trip, then immediately PB Drop it and get paid the value of Day 1? That would be more than just letting it turn into a vacation day eventually.

yes indeed. You can also WS that same trip again if you want to fly it.

Genius .

But you only get actual block on day 1. If it’s just a DH ATL-SAV, you only get an hour of pay, not 5:15.

Make sure the day has adequate reserve coverage though if you're planning on dropping the trip, otherwise you might get stuck flying it!!

Also, you could pick up a multi-day trip with a very juicy (high block) first day and then PD it (again, as long as there is reserve coverage) and the PB day will pay out the value of the first day of the trip.
