not realizing that they did the exact same thing as furlough them, just labeled it unpaid leaves of absence.

Yes. It will be interesting to see what happens in the coming months when those on unpaid leaves run out of unemployment benefits and need to return to work...

Will the company reduce their hours further? Cut pay rates? Or just pull the trigger and start furloughing?

I was wondering the same thing, but I think we will be in bankruptcy by then.

OMG...you mean the posts on APC and CC aren't indicative of the majority of pilots and all Delta peeps? Who'da thunk?

He was referring to the nonrev page on Facebook. This page has way more noncons than pilots. So, Though I agree with you, this is not a good example to back that up.

Well if you go back to TA-1 and TA-2 APC was spot on with both. CC on the other hand had both failing by around 90%. So while both forums have their unique shortcomings I would say APC has historically been much more in line with the will of the Delta Pilots. Who knows if this will continue to hold true.

CC is a small private site that seems to self select and has little tolerance for divergent viewpoints. APC is public and all points of view are welcome. Both have some very smart folks posting, both serve a purpose and unfortunately we both have our share of Knuckleheads.

All Forums have pluses and minuses, same with all forms of social media.
