Re-route pay
So got rerouted several times in 1 rotation, got back 2.5 days late. Re-route pay was on my time card but then disappeared. On hold several times for over 1 hour trying to reach scheduling, no answer.
Was told it would take 10 days for them to correct. Can you imagine if they called you out on reserve, white slip, green slip. .and you told them it would take 10 days to show up.
Come on ALPA, time to get serious with all these issues. The wheels have completely fallen off flight ops. They have no clue what they are doing and are not addressing any issues that have been a problem for over 12 months now. Time to demand changes not just play nice guy.
I'm worried for the future of this airline at the rate we're going...

Plus all the pilots that should be pay protected. I'm sure he was rerouted into open time known about more than 14 hours out without scheduling exhausting the entire trip coverage ladder sequence first.

Same flight just delayed 2 days. Nothing from open time.

If you look at the definition of reroute-23 A 45, I’m not sure your situation constitutes a reroute.

He should get RR pay. In the last contract we removed maintenance from excused absences for the company. You are correct it’s not a true reroute but they failed to return him home within 4 hours so the pay is due. Nothing else would be due however. Would not surprise me to see a scheduler rule it beyond the companies control but again that exemption went away in 2016.
