What's wrong with being a DB?

You can always tell it was a *REDACTED* crew because the disgusting community herpes headset is left connected.

I cannot fathom using a shared headset. Is it the cost that puts people off, having to carry it? I don’t know, and I’m not a germophobe, but it just makes me gag.

I don’t get it. They are not that expensive, I was able to afford a decent one on RJ FO pay. I can’t imagine using a ship set unless mine broke on a trip

I'd call in sick.

And when I put them away I use a napkin.

As a fellow ATL guy lemme break ranks, it’s disgusting, confusing, and cheap. Guys are always asking why I bought a headset.

1. I hear better.
2. 320s (as a whole) are quiet but not that quiet
3. Not a germaphobe but that’s like hooking up with a hooker on a layover. I know why Covid rates are higher for pilots, it’s the headset.
4. I’m a professional and this is like a mechanic having his/her own tools. My headset and I are one.

Reasons guys/gals should wear a headset.

1. You’ll be able to hear your grandkids when you don’t have hearing loss.
2. You’ll be able to hear that mumbling controller and/or Havana center better and not miss calls.
3. You’ll feel less exhausted at the end of the day from all that noise.
4. Save $ on Herpes medication from constant flare ups.

And pilots using the ships set, its not me you can’t hear. My boom mic is on my lips and I’m speaking normally. You’re deaf and don’t know yet. Also, your boom mic is a mile away from your mouth abs you whisper and have the audacity to say it’s my Bose headset and not the telex. When I have to have the knob to 11, it’s you; meanwhile the ramper sounds like a Hurricane.

Rant over.

...and it's possible the guy before you may have butt-swiped the boom mike.

Do you want hepatitis? Because that’s how you get hepatitis.
