My grandfather worked on that KC Armour hog kill floor a hundred years ago. He was one of the few who knew how to read and write.

He got through 5th grade, my grandmother through 3rd. About typical back then.

seems like a good fit to me.

Bet it doesn't have the lift or short field capability of the 40 yr. old 75.....Think Orange County, DCA winter transcons or Boston Rwy 9/27 to LAX...on derated thrust!!!

That was my thought.

SNA is one thing. But I cant imagine why sumbody would accept 9/27 in BOS going to LAX?

Are any of these things that prevent it from replacing the 757? No doubt the 75 is a great machine, I really hope I get the chance to fly it before they park them. AA is currently using their 321NEOs DCA-LAX, 9-27 is a 7000’ runway if it does not work you use 4/22s or 15R/33L. No idea if it can do SNA, but I do hear it has better short field performance due to the engines and better brakes.

SNA, EGE, and JAC are probably the few airports that might require a different plane. But for the rest of what the 75 does, the NEO can do it burning considerably less gas.

funny thing is after Boeing threw a fit over us buying the C series, they will likely offer us a lower price on MAX 8s
