Check back in a year....

I’m not the beneficiary of this. I’ve been out on an unpaid PLOA for months now, and it doesn’t end until late 2022.

Some of the crying and whining on the FB widget UNA page to save their jobs has been embarrassing to see and I am just as disdainful of that behavior as the ‘I was furloughed so you should be too’ and ‘millennials are responsible for everything bad in the world’ attitude that this guy seems to have.

I would rather have been furloughed than see the PWA and our QOL take a hit, but this LOA isn’t that. The MEMRAT vote will speak for itself. And for the record, I don’t think it will be better when the old guys leave, I think it will be better when guys like HIM leave.

Senior guys are benefiting some just don't see it yet. The reduction of the GS Trigger along with permanent decrease in TLV makes the upside pay benefit significantly more than the downside. We are in the midst of a pandemic and GS are being handed out like candy. Next summer should be entertaining to say the least

IOW, vote yes with the assumption of GS’s. Most excellent logic.

With 1800 folks gone and GS already going out any material increase in Pax numbers will dramatically increase GS. Risk/Reward looks significantly in the pilots favor. Are you voting No with the assumption of bankruptcy?

Yeah, I’m sure votes are being based on one part of a multifaceted LOA. Most excellent logic.

Or, vote yes for about half a dozen other improvements to the contract, with zero hits to it.

What does that have to do with anything? These improvements stand on their own merit. Whether the state of our airline is in a much better, or worse place a year from now doesn't mean much regarding this LOA. All the provisions are improvements to the contract.

It has nothing to do with anything, it’s just a way for contrarians to think they have the last word because there’s no way to refute events that haven’t taken place yet
