The only thing i can speak to were the number of idiots who believed Delta would see their sick calls in the DGI program. Pilots were worried constantly and the only reason that would happen is if the SSP pilots that were still around told pilots that or if management misrepresented the DGI program.

Some of the SSP pilots are on here. Maybe they can chime in on their experience.
I feel like we are talking past each other. I meant someone who intended on taking a guaranteed interview....which was sometime distant and getting sick in the meantime. Maybe Im just confused.

Don't know all the rules... don't really care. But, when I had kids/ friends with apps in at Delta, I was aware of sick leave usage. Not near as close as what you guys are talking about...much more grey. I wondered if MY sick leave usage( which Delta can and has a right to see) might be perused (as a recommended endorser) for the applicant. I know this will be poo-pooed by some, but the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and birds of a feather....

When you have 20,000 highly qualified candidates for 500 positions what does one use for discrimantors? As far as flows go, ask the Vatican how well it works out passing one person from system to system( settle down, not drawing a parallel between the two other than in principal.)

As a business person and employer, I would readily use discriminators like this ( when legal and cheap to vet) to weed out candidates when it's a " buyers" market

I'm not sure. The SSP (a long dead program) was the only one who had any sick time viewing on the interview candidates. The DGI, my program, sick time was not viewable. They didn't ask, they couldn't ask. They did look through my logbook to see if i flew holidays, i assume, to see if i bagged out sick on them. They commented how happy they were that I did fly on holidays.

There is some confusion between the NWA flow, the Delta flow to get Moak his national seat, SSP, uSSP, EtD, GIP/DGI programs. I can't untangle all of them. The SSP was the only sick time observable program. There are idiots, who specialize in knowing nothing, at EDV that believe their sick time is viewable by Delta. They are wrong but even after you explain to them it isnt, there's a conspiracy theory that Delta looks at it anyway.
