Have you ever heard of Adams? Jefferson? Madison?

Morons.

I assume the company would pay to install a revolving door in the MEC Chair’s office.

In exchange for some JV gives, of course.

Incredibly talented in fact, just out dated.

Disappointed in the C20 reps, among others. Admittedly, I'm generally pretty apathetic with regards to all of this, but I will be contacting my reps. I don't understand anyone wanting to try to get rid of R.S. LOA 20-04 is a perfect example of how well this MEC has performed through some of the most difficult times this industry has seen. Sounds like a leadership change, in the midst of a pandemic with drastic consequences in our industry, is the last thing we need.

Agreed, I've been very pleased with the MEC through all of this.

Couldn't agree more. Our leadership is picked by 19 reps, often with "backroom" deals and negotiations. Resulting in cliques and "post election" paybacks. Lincoln said it best, "there's too many pigs for the tits"
Clearly the ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP should vote for the chairman, not just 19 reps

Me too...

So let's change leadership midstream - makes a lot of sense. Not.

I smell c44 skulduggery.

The entire membership should vote for the chair, not the LECs. JMHO.

This is my shocked face that pilots who were on the "furlough chopping block" are "most pleased indeed" with the MEC leadership(who worked with the direct input of the other MEC members and had to draft something that would pass muster of the entire MEC to get it out to a vote). The first LOA barely passed constituent voting(not a resounding "win" for the MEC or it's leader IMO).

When your job has been saved it doesn't matter if "Team Biden" did it, or "Team Trump"....you are happy. Personally, I am ambivalent...after ousting Malone who brought in a contract that passed at about 80% ?... nothing really seems to matter, it's just internal politics. I do find the humor in painting certain councils as evil though(I'm not in 44). Seems the politics of everyday life permeates union politics also.

YEA TEAM !!!.... GO TEAM !!!!

So Joe has promised right to work legislation. I can only hope that includes the transportation industry. Clearly our mature contacts don't need strong leadership and there's no hope of restoring the profession so I might as well save two percent and get rid of this worthless association.

I’m nowhere near the “chopping block,” and I’m very happy with 20-04. But that doesn’t fit your viewpoint so you’ll probably ignore it
