Default Does not meet contractual time limits

PCS request for a WS worth 6:40.

Current schedule says Max P/UP 7.31

I was denied, PCS says “DOES NOT MEET CONTRACTUAL TIME LIMITS”

What am I missing? I dropped some PB days this month….but I always thought the Max P/UP on the schedule was the WS hrs remaining before hitting the cap?

I’d run it through the rules auditor. My guess is it’s not denied because of the P/U limit.

Ok that’s where I always start. Id either call scheduling or give ALPA a call in the morning since it’s something contractual.

ARCOS just called out…I guess since it’s within 24hours it’s a weird process between PCS & ARCOS. That’s almost an hour after the PCS run.

thanks for the advice!

you can’t pick up for tomorrow after the 0700 PCs run. That’s why there’s the “award next day flying” box

I’d clarify that you can’t pickup up next day flying via the automated PCS run after 0700 the day prior. After that it becomes a manual process run by the schedulers.

This is correct. The “does not meet contractual time limits denial code” means you had a slip in for same day/next day flying that could not be awarded to you via PCS because it is after the 0700 PCS run. You will see the denial code after the 1200 PCS run. Crew Scheduling processes all trip coverage manually after 0800 base time for same day/next day. (23.M.3)
