I posted a Johns Hopkins WHO study in another thread but 2.2 million of 2.5 million deaths according to their study occurred in countries with high BMI.

The Japanese have worn masks when ill for many years as it is considered good manners. Mask use there is common and wouldn't be seen an an imposition. Japan did not do any general lock downs but very targeted and short lived ones only in areas of outbreaks. A good thing we should have mirrored here.

Spent 4 years in Japan. Our Japanese neighbors told us they don't get "sick time" like we do.

They go to work sick. They shop sick. They wear the mask when they are sick.

If you've ever been in Tokyo Station at rush hour you'd get it.

There's a little more to masking in Japan than you see on the surface.

Still here we are 1 year on. Masking away. Is it going to go ad infinitum???

This makes me laugh. There’s gonna be a portion of our population that treats life like this forever.

Think there is a similar video about reparations and how much they are needed?...seems like they have infiltrated almost every thread

Can you post that video link. I could use another good laugh. And who are the infiltrators??? "they" must be exposed.

Buck Rogers 04-06-2021 09:48 AM

they
/T͟Hā/
  1. 1.
used to refer to two or more people or things previously mentioned or easily identified.
"the two men could get life sentences if they are convicted"
  2. 2.
used to refer to a person of unspecified gender.
"ask someone if they could help"

They could be both sides of the reparations argument.....but I could prolly hazard a guess as to why you took it personally

As an aside......I gotta laugh at definition #2 of what "they" means.....laugh....scoff....about the same for me. I can't help but imagine it prolly has your full support(a rhetorical question, you needn't go down that rabbit hole or, feel free but I won't be playing because that would legitimize the concept))

I wasn't offended, just making a joke about you getting the threads confused. I should have used an emoji ;) to make it better understood. We get 3 so :o  on definition 2. If someone would rather be referred to as "they" than he or she I'd oblige them but I'd definitely get it wrong the first time without a heads up.
