Swimming in the pool
On 12/17 CJO holders got an email stating that their original 18 month CJO was extended 6 months to make it 24 months (end of 1Q 2022). Hypothetically speaking, if management’s forecasted recovery ends up not being correct and that they don’t need additional pilots until AFTER summer 2022 at the earliest, any clue what would happen to the ~120 guys in the pool? Anyone know how post 9/11 and 2009 CJOs were handled?

Can't really comment on 9/11 because I wasn't here yet.
However, its very interesting that they chose 6 months. In theory they can make it whatever they want since it's a CJO, but why choose 6 months unless you intended on acting on that?
I think the next 365 AE will shed more light on staffing for 2022. If the vaccine continues to roll out without any hiccups I'm really hoping that by 4Q2021 it's all hands on deck for the holidays again after the debacle they created this year.

Maybe a bit optimistic, but I think we’ll see hiring again Q3 or Q4 of 2021, assuming the vaccine is successful.
Summer 2022 is going to be gangbusters (again, assuming successful vaccine). The question is, will the company delay hiring as they have in the past? We know they prefer to run understaffed and motivate more productivity with Geenies, but that approach eventually stalls.
