Stimulus Bill2
Looks like they came to a deal now need to vote on it. Deal includes $15 billion for airline relief but requires airlines to recall furloughed employees. We did not furlough. Wonder how this is going to affect Delta and what if management doesn't take the money. If I read the LOA correctly UNA's would come back to full pay.

I can’t imagine they won’t take the grant, unless there are crazy stipulations, that would be beyond dumb.

Looks like a mirror of the CARES act stipulations. Just 2/3rds the amount of funding/months of furlough protection.

What is the point of bringing unneeded employees back. Every airline in America has already dealt with the problem. Lots of stay home at low pay programs/leaves with benefits programs/early retirement programs etc...Very few actually furloughed or laid people off. The point is there is no need for 25-30% of capacity...So park it, lay off, furlough etc....Pretty clear to anyone that looks big picture that it is going to be a long slow grind back...Years and so be it.
