Supposedly going to be much more tightly regulated going forward in terms of training requirements. Plenty of AI generated news copy out there: see the google.

Funniest story: someone bringing on 2 animals. One to emotionally support the owner, the other animal to emotionally support the other animal.

Reason number #67 that I couldn't be a gate agent...my eyes would fall out of my skull from all the eye rolling.

(If I never have to pick up another doggie doodie in the terminal, I'll retire a happy man. Jebus, people are so fixated on their phones they'll step in anything).

Apparently you’ve already picked up at least one more pile of crap than I ever will.

According to DN, no more emotional support animals period on Delta. Only properly trained service animals.....including pit bulls.

Ever put your bag in an overhead on a deadhead and it comes out reeking like dog S for the rest of the rotation? Because someone else dragged their bag through the pile, didn't notice it, and crammed their bag in next to yours?

Yeah, I'll pick it up when I see it in terminals. Uniform or not, I'm not above a few sharp words to the pet owner when I catch up with them, either. (have yet to hand them the napkin with extra filling telling them "you dropped this" though)

Anyhoo, sounds like less of a problem going forward.

Energy is cheap now, how are you doing? /sarcasm

All kidding aside, I share a similar viewpoint. I sold my Delta stock a decade ago and invested in oil stocks as a way to reduce my employment risk. It's worked reasonably well until demand for both air travel and oil disappeared overnight.

Next time, just pick it up with your teeth and start chomping on it in front of the dog’s owner.

That oughta get their attention.

So I have an idea for the side hustle thread.... Documentation for your "support animal".

ooops... It already exists.

This will stop very little if anything

the documentation for real service animals is already far more robust than for ESAs.
