As an affected pilot....am I the only one that thinks the company has to give me 30 days notice to get my butt into training?
“An Affected Pilot will be given a minimum of 30-days notice from the award or assignment of an open position to the date of the pilot’s return to service from 30-hour No Fly status unless the pilot consents to less notice.”
What am I missing?

Last week of April, one week in training. No notification beyond the form email we all got.
At least it gives me enough advance warning to have a fighting chance of getting out of the middle east in time to make it.
I was afraid they were going to try to give me a training date 2 days from notification, which would be hard to make if I was CONUS with my reserve unit, never mind TAD to SandLand.

I don’t entirely agree. I know that BS is thrown to the meat grinder, but I think he overpromises and under-delivers to those both above and below him.
His nose is so deep in spreadsheets and “optimizers” that he doesn’t do a great job of taking a step back and looking at the big picture.
I get that his marching orders from above aren’t pleasant, but he is at the director level and he needs to be honest about what can and can’t be done.
Finally, I have yet to meet a GB Packers fan that has an IQ over the Gump line...

Why BS promises an AE delivery on any day other than Friday is beyond me. 13k of us could have told him he would send the memo on Thursday for an AE posting on Friday.
Disagree on GB fan IQ.
