I never remember such a long wait between memo and actual posting of the AE. It’s not a cruel April fools joke? It would be no Laughing mater....

Thanks, that’s a good point.

The 62 330 A vacancies alone in NYC would create enough movement on their own to get a 73A. Add in the seats bugman mentioned and it’s a slam dunk. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice. I will most likely front load my bid with East coast A stuff and put West coast A stuff in the back burner.

The irony is that I live on the North Eastern Seaboard. I wonder if I should bid it in the hopes I may slide back to NYC on a future bid, or just stick to the 220 A and guarantee a NYC spot, but with lower pay, for 2 years. I am perfectly happy being bottom reserve, but in NYC. The 7ER A is a stretch, but it's on my bid. What do you think (sorry for making this about me but it is bothering me a bit)?

Thanks!

(I guess my APC name is kinda giving away where I live. lol)
99.9% Chance you get NYC73NA. Hell I'd say 80% chance you get NYC7ERA

Yeah the fact you have to suit up and go sit at the airport for the blessing to go home cause ether bought your trip off and can't now pick anything up or had to commute to go home is utterly management bs games. First airline I've ever worked for who did this bs

This started with covid I'm pretty sure. I was usually bought off a day or two in advance. When covid hit I was told by scheduling that they wanted to play it safe in case the trainee called out.

I’m at 13 weeks and counting since 44X. I do have it scheduled finally later this month, so 15 weeks total.

I was told last week by a LCA there are over 80 people waiting behind me.

This is a good thing. More aircraft utilization means more flying and more profit.

All by design, they want to devalue the OE trip buy so we will negotiate it away.
