Population growth has been slowing for decades. You see as we extract that carbon and use it to make the world a wealthier and more productive place. People get more educated and have less babies. Most of the sociologists that study these things are saying that we are nearing maximum population numbers as the birth rates continue to drop around the world. Most of the first world, including the US has birth rates below replacement levels.

Even if it might save a life?....(rhetorical)
Follow the science!!!
It is an aluminum coffin....social distancing is not achievable!!!
They must do it for international travel....Biden EO....safety is safety....if it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander!!!
This all gets pretty confusing

1. Full disclosure: I have been onboard with science and mask wearing from day one. I have argued with deniers and conspiracy theorists since the very first outburst from the far right fringes of the political spectrum.
2. So the science: Studies have shown there are reasons to believe that infection rates in planes are some of the lowest in the globe.
3. Testing ressources are sparse and need to be judiciously allocated to places where infection rates are highest, for contact tracing and isolation.
—-> So if we test in planes, we need to test in churches etc., Targets, Sam clubs, and Coscos, because data dictates that infection rates are highest there.
4. Ed was talking about domestic flying. International is a different animal indeed.
