It makes sense to not mandate a vaccine that is approved under an EUA, even if it is extremely, extremely low-risk. Some people argue that for much of the population, so is COVID, and I don’t disagree. Vaccines aren’t communicable to the small subset of the population that is vulnerable to COVID, however.

If you're vulnerable or worried enough, get vaccinated. If you're not worried and/ or don't want to, don't. If you fall into the first category, and the latter doesn't get vaccinated, who cares? You're vaccinated. Why is this so hard?

The peeps that don’t vaccinate and get the virus...symptoms or not...help the virus mutate. Preventing it from mutating to something we can not control should be our top priority.

I'm truly not trying to be confrontational and my apologies as I stepped outside of my SWA airline's forum, but that doesn't answer any of the questions I proposed. Are you suggesting that "perception" should override personal freedom? Is getting vaccinated just a perception or is it effective?
