How much child labor goes into your EV?

Tesla has always minimized the stuff using high nickel cathodes to eliminate the toxic Cobalt. Current cell technology uses silicon (sand), nickel, sodium and iron. Those engineers also worked out how to do it with a lot less water.
Before you whine about a Lithium mine, compare the global effect of all lithium mining against one (pick any one) oil spill.

Base range 250+, 4WD 300+, Tri-Motor 500+ now ask yourself, how far do crews go to get to a job site? Surveys say <25 miles on average. Given that you can usually charge while on site working, being an EV is not an issue.

Lithium, mine it, put it in a battery, use it for 25 years, then recycle it in a closed loop system, or put it in a pill, feed it to RoseBotella to improve his outlook on C44.

Yeah, a lot less than it takes to suck oil out of the ground, pipe it, ship it, refine it, ship it, pipe it, truck it, and then let 85% of the useful work escape into the atmosphere as waste heat.
