NYC Crashpads
I find myself one of the lucky 400+ to be coming back. Was previously NYC based in 2018, but wasn't a fan of my C pad by LGA. Can anyone point me or send me a PM with ideas on where to go? I don't want to hotel it either due to the shellacking I think we'll have in the summer, and I'll be on reserve on the 7ER. Ideally something by JFK or Howard Beach would be ideal.

For the Er, I would recommend to look for one in ozone park, you’ll have accessibility to the Airtrain to JFK and save a lot of money.
I’m in kew, but I’m in the ABus, so halfway to jfk and lga works for me. If I get the 330 or 765 later, I’ll move to a jfk pad.

For anyone looking I’ve been in 4 different ones in 5 years. But 3 of those were in the first year and have been in the one I’m in now for almost 4 years. PM if you’re interested. We have 1 spot.

$275-325 in Howard Beach.
I’ve been in both Kew and Howard Beach.
Kew has more stuff around...Dani’s Pizza...Bakers Dozen for a killer breakfast bagel sandwich... but travel to/from can be a hassle.
Not as much around Howard Beach, but there is a small grocery store, chinese food, CrossFit gym that allows drops in, and Ive had lots of food delivered via uber eats. Airtrain is 24/7.
