Joe Public should be incensed over this... government bailout money (tax dollars) going to some exec’s beach house payment? Bad things are afoot at the Circle K.... this ends poorly for Ed and Inc. We should all be ****ed by this.
The line is strange things are afoot at the circle k. Cmon Ted.

And notice SVP is $250k and UP. Not shocked though.

Anyone have a matching set of stones to ask that in the next Flt Ops base visit?
Jummmmm, thinking now...maybe congress will remove the airline funding. That way, AA and UAL will get choked and probably Jetblue with their NOA when it goes to mediation.

Could be a smart move from our part.

Someone posted the article to skynet, but I’ve not yet been assimilated.

The fact you think this way is indicative of this ruling class mentality. Management doesn't deserve a dime in bonuses for doing their jobs as they and been raping the coffers for years in bonuses and stocks

Love the sarcasm, Bluto!! I see what you did there. 😁

They certainly do deserve those bonuses though. I mean, who else cancelled more flights over Thanksgiving and Christmas than us?? Industry leading "performance" certainly deserves industry leading pay. If only the Delta Board of Directors actually noticed that massive performance failure and held the appropriate parties accountable rather than permitting bonuses to be handed out.

And, for the record, the Flight Ops and Scheduling/Tracking brain drain has already happened through the VEOP. Those remaining have made some awful decisions and maybe should be poached?

Exactly. Hopefully the FAs unionize and we get everything we deserve when section 6 resumes.

I’d love to see the average American taxpayer who just helped “bail the airlines out” response to this.

It is almost like they just hated pilots, not the optics.
