Delta will also add or boost flights to Anchorage (ANC) from its other hubs, as follows:
For Delta, it’s not just about the new routes. The carrier is also upgauging equipment as part of its Alaska expansion. In addition to wide-body Boeing 767 service from Atlanta, all flights will be flown by either a Boeing 737-800, -900 or 757-200. The only exceptions are the two routes to KTN and SIT, which will be flown by Delta Connection partner SkyWest Airlines on an Embraer 175. |
Doesn't Delta do seasonal service to ANC and FAI every summer?

Some welcome news. Now please, step up the inflight service. The we can't do it because "safety" is getting old. The (tax payer) money is there.

I wonder if some of these - the ones that are 757 were supposed to be and may be 321 neo routes next year
Atl, nyc, dtw Per Airbus site 321 neo has 4,000 nm range not sure with our config. |
Seems like Delta is going to be left behind. Every other airline (except AA I think) still has all their pilots current and trained and ready to go. We have a huge amount NQAT and in "affected status."
