Default ATL crew hotels

So I’ve noticed a bit of a decline at the Country Inn and Suites South. Used to be the best deal out there, but now I’m looking for something a little better. What are you guys using nowadays for a hotel crash pad?

I hear the hotel formerly known as the Crowne Plaza is nice.

(Been a while so I haven’t personally observed any decline, but I agree the Country Inn and Suites Airport South was the best deal)

I'm going to try Marriott Fairfield. I was told to use code UCW for crewmember rate which I believe is about $85 out the door. I never stayed there so I can't comment yet.

I stayed there a half-dozen times and regretted it.. the Fairfield Marriott on north side had bed-bugs pre Covid and always smelled like MJ.

Use Marriott code “DLA”. I frequent the Westin for $89 before tax typically. Other times the Marriott in between 9L/9R which is one of our crew hotels. Anything to be away from VA.

No joke. Just checked into the Holiday Inn North today and thankfully no more gunshots as we passed the Sonesta. According to ALPAs email today we have a “commitment” from the company to ditch both the Holiday Inn and the Sonesta as soon as possible. (In 2030 cough cough) So we got that going for us..... which is nice.

The AC Marriott hotel is 84 before taxes. Just a train ride away.

Did they ever open the bar/restaurant there? Last time I was there it was still under construction. They'll come get you at the train with their electric carts if it's raining or you don't want to walk it.
