Fixed it for you. Neither are efficient uses of time......but they do enable divisiviness.....so both of you stop! You are both right and you are both wrong!

Stop it. Delta knows what they doing. We are cash flow positive while blocking middle seats. AA says they are cashflow positive if you exclude debt payments(Really Dougie Parker.. Really?) And they Bern running full flights for a minute. Moreover, Delta has industry leading Vaccine work rules. Some folks getting 10 days dropped. Even with the headscratcher staffing decisions they are minting cash. When Business travel recovers its going to be a gusher.
Stay home and enjoy your time off or come to work and enjoy the premium pay. Trying to be an airline manager on APC isn't an efficient use of your time.

No, I'm not.
I would just like for us to realize there are various informed opinions out there, and although we may disagree we should acknowledge when sometimes we, or others, read the situation and are right. Not chest thumping here. There were/are posters on here that went pretty hard on us.
Some of us have been in management in other places. We are not stupid or naive. We can see the avalanche starting. This was a case with this evolution.
Sometimes it pays to keep an open mind. I try to do that here. It's difficult sometimes as I think there are many trolls, but you get to learn who the genuine posters are and follow them and engage. Above all be respectful.

You, and many others (myself included, but we’re not chest thumping here) assumed the recovery would be faster than management thought. Being “woke” or not had no bearing, an inability to admit they overdid it and change the plan, sure. But not being “woke”.
You are correct about getting to know posters. I’m not sure which side of the line you see yourself on, but I think you could keep your own words in mind. Disparaging an entire generation doesn’t seem so respectful.

I don’t see how shouting “NO” nonstop last fall makes you correct. You say informed opinion, but you weren’t even interested in seeing what was in the the deal. That’s not an open mind, that’s the definition of close minded. That deal accomplished a couple of the goals of section 6, avoided furloughs (which would have slowed the recall process now), and kept pay and insurance for the potential furloughed.

When did I say profit? All my statements have been about cashflow. Businesses operate off cashflow. Cold hard cash going in and out of the business.
