Interesting that they have become more refined since I got both my shots. It makes sense as they are short on pilots.

You mean that email blaming pilot's vaccinations for the Easter weekend cancels had some merit?

I recently sent crew assist the date of my first shot. They asked me a couple of questions and then within 2 hours NFLY was on my schedule for a 3 day. They did not ask what time my shot was scheduled for.

You should get removed from the entire trip with pay. That is what was negotiated. If they did not do that, please contact the Scheduling Committee.

Surely you can’t be serious. The company takes advantage of every loophole available to them and when there’s no loophole they just violate the contract. And you somehow think that acting like a good boy will earn good will when it comes time to negotiate a contract? Please tell me you’re new to the industry and former mil, I could excuse such naïveté in that case, but if you’ve been here a few years or came up from the regionals then I’ve got some beachfront property in AZ to sell you.

I can just imagine the 4th floor Zoom meeting where some khaki wearing cube dweller uttered the phrase “We didn’t think they would do that”.

I scheduled my second shot and just happened to have 48 hours off afterwards. Now, even 54 hours later I still have fever, cold sweats, and body aches. I have a trip starting tomorrow afternoon.
Has anyone had to call in sick after the shot because of side effects even after the 48 hours off? If so, did you get a NFLY or have to use sick time?
Sorry if this may have already been addressed. I’m too tired to read through everything. The typing here, alone, makes me want to go take a nap.
