Not just 321s but 321neos. Very curious if they will be ETOPS...

Ugh...I sure hope we never fly them to Europe! I'm more curious about the pay rate!

Seems like the XLRs are the ones JetBlue and United plan to use more to target Europe.

$286 v $296

The trans-Atlantic JV measures in Widebody ASK. Widebody is dual aisle. As written, narrowbody flying would not count towards our side of the JV compliance balance.

I believe it's considered a new category (or whatever) and should require a new rate, so hopefully closer to the 296.

You know Bar, if we attack it from that angle, assuming we could get make it happen, I guess I can't disagree with that. Would the economics of such a plane enable us to fly to more of the burgs & villes in Europe? Does it have the range to get much past the UK? If we're going to fly them to Europe, I sure hope there is a nice crew bunk.

The NEO pay negotiation was delayed when the deliveries were delayed. But we’re now less than a year from it being on property. Write your reps and let them know what think it should pay. Personally, if the NEO will be flying 757 routes (Hawaii, Transcons, and thin Europe), then it should be getting 757 pay.

So some more AEs to cover these deliveries or did this last bid cover them?

“Get your price, or get your deal.”

Airbus makes a superior product, at least from the passenger and commercial pilot end, and it’s no longer even close.(Your mileage may vary).

Interesting change of direction from a company known for at least a decade for grabbing the “low hanging fruit” (717s). Maybe the rumored “fire sale” of the MAXes didn’t materialize?
