Also because callsign Fangs is obsessed with me and can't help himself to follow me around this board and troll me. So I'll punch right back at the weirdo every time.

Wow. This guy isn't even on the property yet, and he's saying the drop sucks and get out of my seat. The lack of respect is astounding. Pretty balsy for someone who doesn't even have an ID yet and is fairly easy to identify. CJOs have been pulled for less. I'm sure he'll be a joy to fly with IF he makes it to the line. This will be the newhire that b!tches for the entire rotation.

United is only offering 737 or 320, no 757/767 in a while… same with AA. So Delta has the most variety of all the drops. WB going to new hires is long gone

You certainly have a flair for the dramatic. I almost exclusively fly with newhires, including some stuck in the 717 who want a west coast base and not a single one complained the entire time, or much at all.

Well I hope you're right. It's moo for me, because I won't be flying with newhires any time soon. The days of newhires getting WB are long gone.

Now that the pilot shortage is ending, we are also going to see hiring critera restored to traditional norms where we were much more selective.

Yeah I don’t see what the big deal is lol dude was being sarcastic and we are torching him at the stake. And yes hiring has changed, I remember I was stoked to not get MD88 and I got NYC717 lolol but I certainly don’t get rattled a new hire today doesn’t see a lot of base options available when that has sort of become a norm around here.

I’m sure he wasn’t expecting 350/330 since that hasn’t happened in years and was kind of a one off. Welcome man, I’m a sarcastic dude too so I’ve dug some holes and got *****ed at on here too. Most of us are chill.

God help a junior guy sitting with you across the Atlantic. Probably going to roast the poor dude for hours about how he was hired in a less restrictive requirements and how lucky they are to be sitting with you. Kind of ironic you then twist it that you’re the nice dude and Fangs is the ego maniac. Can’t make this **** up!!!

Back in my day you plumbed the 727, or if you were lucky flew the 88 or Delta Express 737-200s and were just happy to be here.

.

“Back in my day?”

Do you really work at Delta, or are you between bed pan services at the elderly care facility ?

Tell us more about the death, destruction and suffering grandpa. Did you really eat rats and live in mud huts?

Welcome to Delta.
I hate the way we do class drops.
I still somehow managed to like it here.

How would you do class drops?

I would do any logical order in the class. Age, number of hours, feats of strength....really any way other than via reverse last four or another seemingly random way to assign seniority (in the class).

Does your last 4 start with 0?
