ATL reps have to go
After reading what our reps in council 44(ATL) think of their constituents in their leaked emails they should immediately resign,
and if not, they should be recalled. They have clearly shown, through their own words, that they support a very pro-company agenda while at the same time actively working against the MEC.
Their threats to fellow union members are appalling. I clearly can’t support reps who celebrate the death of a fellow union member and call pilots that they are supposed to support “retards”.
I can’t accept any more proxies in support of the recall. Please participate in the recall if able.

I can confirm that a current C44 rep (K.O.), in response to a FB post about the passing of a former DAL pilot, responded "so long, thief." You can still easily find the post via a search on the widget pilot/ta FB group. How anyone gets elected with such a clear lack of class and SA, is beyond me. Based on some of his responses, him calling his constituents "retards," wouldn't be all that surprising (if that's who is being referenced).

I am still trying to determine what is sh!t and what is Shinola vis a vis this situation. And I also am trying to decide if it is worth cancelling a manicure to attend the meeting.
To the pro recall folks, I have a question:
Let’s say you are successful and all four reps get ousted. Hypothetical congrats to you. What then? Does not the entire council then get to vote on interim reps? If so, what type of pilots do you expect will be electable in such a situation?
Genuine question. As I said, I’m pretty ignorant right now.
Oh, and I don’t really have a manicure scheduled. Never had one, but I think would rather listen to the nail salon gossip than the C44 drama.

Why would anyone give any support to unsourced, highly edited, snippets of very personal email conversations?
None of the pro-recall individuals (it is no "crowd") will tell us their source, or the context.
The pro recall individuals also do not take responsibility for lying about and harassing our union reps until the reps finally tell them there is a limit to their abuses.
Article 8 exists to protect the association from people who work to destroy it from the inside. I think every pro recall individual has advocated for an alternative bargaining agent. There is ample justification to remove these individuals from our association.
Our association also welcomes them back if they can behave and act like professionals.
These individuals who think they can persuade Delta pilots to SELL SCOPE to transfer money INTO RETIREMENT are wrong.
Roberts Rules allows for floor edits. IMHO if there are ample people in the room, one might consider editing this to start the process of removing certain members from the association that represents Delta pilots until they can learn to function as a contributing member to the Delta pilot group's goals of improving job security, progression, pay and working conditions.
